World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life

A day of prayer especially for those called to the vowed religious life is celebrated each year on the Sunday nearest to the feast of the Presentation of our Lord. First declared by Pope John Paul II in 1997, this day is focused on the gift to the church and the world of those who have vowed themselves to serve God in a life of vowed poverty. celibacy, and obedience.

As a way of focusing on the call to consecrated life today we feature a short witness from three young people of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe who are in the process of embracing vowed religious life.
